  1. You've tempted me to use the "two birds with one stone" cliché.

  6. I'm chuckling at Petrea's cliche. Completely correct! Except you didn't kill them, of course!
    Blessings!

  7. A beautiful photograph.

Yes, feathers, especially the small ones often called breast feathers and those call down, are the kind used in feather ticks and quilts and I used to sleep in them when I was growing up. We could get all the feathers we wanted and saved them until we had enough to fill a pillow or a quilt or "tick" as we called them. They are the warmest things on earth that I am aware of.

  10. They are cute little birds, but their brothers and sisters here in Mumbai have really captured our balcony by making it their residence.... they're cute but they spoil the floor and window pane every day :-(

    Anyways... nice shot :-)

  11. Two peace doves, reflecting in the still water! Wonderful!I see you also combined two memes!

Thanks for drawing my attention to the Bundung windmill.
We had a great service in church about Simchat Torah, and there were two singers who sang
    Psalm 119:8,Gal-enay we'abitah
    Psalm 119:65,Shalom rav
    Proverbs 3:17,18,Ets chaim
    Lamentations of Jeremiah 5: 21

And more psalms. They sang so beautifully in Hebrew. I love those melodies and words.

  12. I am sure these two did not come to look for little fish but to spend a romantic time together.

  17. A beautiful and peace-filled picture. Would you agree, Dina, that living next door to a monastery is the next best thing to living in one? Shalom.
