Cloud-gate

.

Just last week thunder was shaking my house and clouds were dropping rain on the Jerusalem Hills.
This week Jerusalem has 20% humidity and a heat wave.
.
Today I unpacked the fan, unscrewed the back, and gave the motor and blades a dusting.
It's going to be a long, hot, dry summer.
.
This may be the last serious cloud for SkyWatch Friday until next autumn.

  1. Great shot, Dina! We had a very RAINY night. It was so loud it woke me up. Looking out the window I can see the clouds are all gray. I wonder if we'll have tai chi to day.

  3. Oh yes, same here. We had a BIG!!! thunderstorm last night, after the hottest april since 1914. The summer is gonna be good! That's ok with me, as I totally missed last summer.

  4. A whole summer without clouds: that would make me sad.

  5. Well, if this is the last cloud of the season, at least it is a wonderful one. Great shot, Dina. I love it.

  7. what dramatic skies you have Dina! I needed this reminder that my own fan could use a good cleaning and readiness for the coming warm months. Happy SWF, and have a great weekend Dina.

  13. Exactly, Dina! An eye for an eye means what you wrote to me. It could also be a cow for a cow or whatever. It's good that people don't show joy and happiness at the death of the enemy. He was evil and we should, if we are religious, pray for his soul.
( I write this comment also on my blog)
