The tracks were laid on existing streets, so you can imagine the balagan and congestion we had in the traffic. <br />I don't care where they put the wires to power the tram, but I do wish we wouldn't have to stand like sardines in the almost-always crowded trams. <br />Once I could take a bus from my moshav/village and be in central Jerusalem in 45 minutes. Now the same bus runs only up to Mt. Herzl, where we have to wait for the tram and transfer. So now it takes longer to get into town.
