Louis la Vache's meme has reached week 50 already!
Having run out of Jerusalem bridges for his Sunday Bridges, I had to travel clear across the country to find a new one.
.
OK, so you get off the train in Tel Aviv, go up the escalator, and turn right.
Fab photo!!! Love the shot of the tube section. The way you told of the progression made me feel if I was actually doing the walking. This is a neat series.
ReplyDeleteTerrific photo of the bridge! Reminds me a little bit of the Paris De Gaulle airport. Re. your question on my blog: yes, the windows are already installed in the wall section...must be the ultimate in pre-fab. It has been fascinating to watch the construction from a hole-in-the-ground through its progression so far.
ReplyDeleteExcellent photos
ReplyDeletehehe... I know my Jerusalemites love their own city more, but I am a passionate and committed Tel Aviv fan. Just like Melbourne and Sydney, really :)
ReplyDeleteGreat images, it has been a long time, everything is changed...
ReplyDeleteFunny, but Jerusalem looks more modern than a lot of places here in the U.S. For one thing, you've got a train system and Hawaii is still arguing about it.
ReplyDeleteI think we need a few walking bridges in the Jerusalem city center once(*if)the light-rail ever really starts running but not like this one in Tel Aviv something more "Jerusalem"
ReplyDelete*(hay its been 10+ years, I know they are doing test-runs but regarding this light-rail ONLY seeing it actually run with passengers etc... will make me believe)
nice photos :)

Gotta love Tel Aviv (or the bridge between it and Ramat Gan in this case LOL).

It is neat when cities show off their different personalities in subtle (or not so subtle) ways.
ReplyDeleteThat's quite an interesting tube bridge - perfect for Louis' BRIDGE meme! Someday maybe I can hustle through that tube myself!
ReplyDeleteLooks as if it would lead directly into another future world.
ReplyDeleteA safe step ahead and a good new week.

You *had* to travel to Tel Aviv, huh? Oh the things you do for memes... :-)
ReplyDeleteThat sure is a long .interesting bridge. Funny how blogging makes you travel around looking for that special shot.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool bridge!
ReplyDeleteGreat entry, Dina! I like the 'tube'.
