"Passed to the New Jerusalem"

I forgot that I had been saving this fascinating old tombstone that quotes Psalm 27:1.

So I add it to yesterday's PsalmChallenge post.

The grave is in one of the Christian cemeteries in the earthly Jerusalem.

    Out of curiosity I Googled him...he was evidently an American Baptist Missionary...I wonder how he managed to be buried in Jerusalem.
