On my morning off work here in the contemplative monastic community, I took a short walk into "the world." In this case, that means the nearby little town.
I couldn't believe this sight: three young women pushing strollers, three kids in a row on each stroller!
They were walking so fast in the crisp air (notice the dusting of snow on the Jura Mountains) that I couldn't catch up to them.
But I did follow them from a discreet distance.
They deposited the children in this nice new school.

They may be daycare workers. I've seen some who bring kids of that age, they might have four or five kids in their care, and they go places like a library for instance.
ReplyDeleteDepends on if they came out without the kids.
Are they nannies looking after a group of children as a job? Or perhaps the IVF programmes in your town have had great success with multiple births :)
ReplyDeleteAre they triplets , I wonder?
ReplyDeleteI was figuring on nannies too. I wonder what it would be like to have triplets. Wow!
