A bed for Tu BiShvat

Tonight/tomorrow is the Jewish holiday Tu BiShvat, the birthday of our trees.


I would like to make my bed among trees in a liman in the desert, with stars above, and jackal calls as a lullaby.

    I remember your post about the jackals. Reminiscent of coyotes, but not exactly the same.

    Well, 1996-2002 was a long time ago. I only remember trying to sleep 2 or 3 times in the Heifer Hilton at Heifer Ranch. The bunk beds were very hard and the night was very long. It was nice sleeping above my donkeys, but I have no idea what I wrote about it.

    I love this. It sounds so idyllic. However, in Hawaii I would be eaten alive by mosquitoes.
