Mazal tov! A new meme has been birthed by the SkyWatch Friday crew. Have a look over at SkyWatch.

Just as I was coming up out of the woods Sister Moon came up and lit my path.

The moon is so bright here tonight.... When it comes up over the trees I might get a few pictures of it myself tonight.

Lovely, lovely. The opening through the trees is forms a reverse silhouette of a tree with the moon in it! Magic.

Very unusual, had to enlarge it to see exactly what I was looking at. I really like the drama of it.

Another beautiful moon. It was full moon here and in the early morning I walked my dogs in its light. I also tried a moon shot this Friday. But it is not so easy.

It is interesting to see the number of moon shots around the blogosphere the last several days. Very nice capture, Dina. "Louis" really likes the textures of this.

What were you doing in the woods at night, Dina? It frightens me, so dark!

Dina said...

Shalom dear commenting friends! I'm so glad you entered into the mystery with me.

Catherine, you speak like a true mother. But don't worry, it is only 4 or 5 minutes to walk through the woods and up to my place. Special friends live down there on the side of the mountain and I eat with them once or twice a week. I carry a good flashlight (even posted about it: http://jerusalemhillsdailyphoto.blogspot.com/2008/03/light-for-earth-hour-and-after.html ).
The jackals in the woods are very vocal but will not attack people.
Thanks for your caring and concern. :)
