Pictures of life in Jerusalem and the Jerusalem Hills. And since August 2013 also a look at the northern Negev, my new home.
Quite whimsical, and it feels like a pub!
ReplyDeleteLOVE your lemon and grater.
ReplyDeleteA very funny mural. I bet it gets them some business from people who are curious about the sign.
ReplyDeleteBut of course Donkeys make everyone happy. I love the little critters and always have to say hello to them
ReplyDeleteNeat! Reminds me of the closing credits to Looney Toons cartoons from days past.
ReplyDeleteShalom Bill. I couldn't agree more. Donkeys are my favorite animal. I worked with them for several years at Heifer Ranch in Arkansas.

Halcyon, dunno. I always walk past it during the day, when it is closed. I've never seen it at night.
Hi John. Oh right! I knew something looked familiar.
ReplyDeleteI really like the philosophy of life you write in your profile.
Dina, I have a request and you might just be the one to answer. I am painting some wooden structures for a children's program at my church. I want them to be fairly authentic. What would a typical home in Jerusalem have been made of during Jesus' time? I am thinking stone or more adobe like? Thanks so much.

It would get me inside in a flash!
ReplyDeleteVery cool! :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm not so sure that donkey looks necessarily so happy. He looks more like he's gritting his teeth.
