    Hmmm... Canada and the US is at odds right now because of Trump, right? Do Israelis really like Trump? That's what I've heard which I find amazing.

    Hi Kay. Thanks for all your comments. I personally don't know any Israeli who likes Trump. But he has done things for Israel that no other president has ever done, so Bibi likes him.

    Shalom William. It is the dry season (about half a year) so no chance the picnic would get rained on. Just very hot.

    Also...the Candian flag is on a short pole, but America and Israel are the same height. Is that meaningful? Probably not. It just looks odd!

    Sandi, I'm sure size of the flagpoles doesn't matter here. It's not on purpose.

    AACI defines itself as "AACI, a voluntary, non-profit organization, was established in 1951 to help North American immigrants acclimate to Israeli society and to build strong ties between North American Jewish communities and Israel. AACI’s services are available to all English speakers. AACI is governed by a lay board and administered by a professional staff. Its many activities are financed through the support of foundations, annual membership dues, an annual fundraising drive and private donations."
