Whenever I go to Ben-Gurion Airport to welcome an arriving friend I like to spend hours enjoying the sights and sounds.
There goes another El Al jet!
Whatever rain we last had seems to have stayed trapped just outside this side entrance to Terminal 3. It is really only an emergency exit, but I was standing inside when a uniformed airport personnel lady waded through the deep water in high heels, making faces as she swiped her card to open the door.
Good for both SkyWatch Friday and Weekend Reflections.
.
I like the reflection of the sky in the puddle.

Terrific shots, Dina! I particularly love the reflections!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend!

Cool reflections and sky photos.
ReplyDeleteAirports are always fun especially if one is going to board a plane! Also a great place to watch people!
ReplyDeleteWonderful reflections on airports!

I'm just glad you got some rain! (And a visitor from afar.)
ReplyDeleteNice reflection off the roof water. Standing water is not good for roofs though.
ReplyDeleteIt looks so modern and fresh, quite different from the desert landscape that we think of for the the middle east.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post for Sky Watch, Dina.
ReplyDeleteI agree, it's nice to spend time enjoying the lots of perspectives in the airports.
wonderful reflections
ReplyDeleteThat is an awesome reflection shot, Dina. Great idea.
ReplyDeleteI love the reflection. I completely forgot about Skywatch this week. I think I'll just hold my shot for another week at this point. Oops. Too much turkey on the brain.
ReplyDeleteMy approach to airports is the opposite of yours - we live quite nearby, so my strategy is not to leave the house until I see their plane coming in for a landing ;).
That last shot is really neat! I looks like you would step off into thin air. Kathy
ReplyDeleteI loved the puddle reflections, it's outstanding!

I like how you Captured the Reflection of the Sky in the Water on the Roof. Very Nice.
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat roof reflection! If you did not explain what it was I would have had time figuring it out. Very neat!
ReplyDelete... Visit my contribution "Where does reality end?"
I like the second shot. The reflections are dramatic.
ReplyDeleteA great contribution from the poodle! :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat capture on the reflections of the clouds and street lamps.
ReplyDeleteThat last picture is great - such a clear reflection.
ReplyDeleteFantastic shots Dina! Now I know where I'll land when I come to Israël! Some day...
ReplyDeleteI enjoy watching planes take off and land too. You found a great puddle and reflection!
ReplyDeleteMy link at James's blog is faulty and McLinky won't let me correct it, so here it is:

I like spending time at the airports too! They're making it harder and harder for us though to find a good place to watch the planes from! With all the airport security you can't get NEAR a plane - unless you're flying!
ReplyDeleteYou got some nice reflections though!
Thanks everyone, for your fun comments.
ReplyDeleteMelli, you're right, hard to get anywhere near the planes unless you're in a departure lounge. Even for my long-range photo here, I noticed a security car come park behind me. When I stayed too long, he beeped.
I like airports! and here you found absolutely great reflections!!
ReplyDeleteThat last photo is very impressive,
ReplyDeleteReally love that last shot.
