Taking refuge in an olive tree

.
Is this not the Cheshire Cat?

The two saucer-eyed kittens up the tree were escaping from the rambunctious Rhodesian Ridgebacks.

  1. Great camouflage on that cat, he really blends in with the tree.

  2. What a drama, Dina!

    Did the cat survive?

I like how it happened on an olive tree. The symbolism.

  3. What is it with dogs and cats? Dogs, beware, cats are the masters of the universe!
Parrots. Yes, we do have great flocks of them here. They are at least as loud as your dogs!

  4. Robin, wouldn't it be funny if the kitten suddenly disappeared from sight?

Eki, yes, the olive tree refuge was good. Fortunately dogs can't climb trees. I'll have to ask my neighbor about the latest cat litter statistics.

Rob and Mandy, yes, cats are real survivors, and then some.
So you have noisy parrots. In other parts of Israel there are flocks of feral parrots, but not here, yet.
I hope you don't think those dogs are mine. No pets for me!

  6. Leif, it DID look like a game, but the cats were not amused. They all live together on one neighbor's big property.

  7. It's one of those instances where you're rooting for the kitty AND the dog! :)

  10. Godness, these dogs are keen. Beautiful ridgeon that Ridgeback! And lovely shot up in the olive tree. What would we do without olive trees?
