Lunar landscape by my son

.
My son the photographer took this picture on the night of the lunar eclipse this month.
You can click and enlarge it a bit.

Edo lives in Los Angeles and does professional photography.
Thanks for e-mailing me the moon, dear Son!
.
UPDATE: Edo says he used a 70-200 lens with a 2x extender, Canon body and lenses.
And that he photographs events, people and corporate on location.
.
I'm happy to share the beauty with all at SkyWatch Friday.

  9. That's a fantastic MOON photo! I tried by myself to take a photo like that to no avail. Finally, a professional photographer from our Eagan Rotary helped me and I posted a similar MOON photo a few weeks ago.
    happy weekend to you Dina!

  12. The full moon is always so enchanting...and so difficult to capture without the professional knowledge and the right equipment. I'm never successful at it with my little digital camera. Your son lives in my general vicinity I see...how interesting. Wouldn't it be funny if we have passed each other at some location around here all unknowing...I'm sure these sorts of "connections" are happening all the time and we never know it...those "six degrees of separation" or whatever you want to call them!
