Prometheus found -- by a cat!
Who knows, maybe this cat appreciates art or is interested in Greek mythology . . . or maybe he is just hoping for a bite of liver.
Fittingly, the statue stands in the courtyard of Hebrew University School of Medicine at Hadassah Ein Kerem.

The little cat joins today's animals at Camera-Critters meme.

When you said "fittingly" I wondered why since Prometheus gave mortals fire. I checked the link out and saw that sure enough, poor guy had to have his liver eaten as punishment. Yuck! I forgot about that.
ReplyDeleteAfter my trip to the Verano cemetery the other day i must come to the conclusion that cats are the keeper of statues. They probably relish the fact that they are not moving, unlike the living.
ReplyDeleteI would have thought something or someone better than Prometheus could be found!
ReplyDeleteThat cat is well versed in Greek mythology ;)
