In the shadow of Prometheus

.
Prometheus found -- by a cat!
Who knows, maybe this cat appreciates art or is interested in Greek mythology . . . or maybe he is just hoping for a bite of liver.

Fittingly, the statue stands in the courtyard of Hebrew University School of Medicine at Hadassah Ein Kerem.

The little cat joins today's animals at Camera-Critters meme.

  8. When you said "fittingly" I wondered why since Prometheus gave mortals fire. I checked the link out and saw that sure enough, poor guy had to have his liver eaten as punishment. Yuck! I forgot about that.

  9. After my trip to the Verano cemetery the other day i must come to the conclusion that cats are the keeper of statues. They probably relish the fact that they are not moving, unlike the living.
