Damascus Gate like you've never seen it

If you look at the Damascus Gate long enough, it starts to look back at you.

Here are some of the projections onto the magnificent gate during the Jerusalem Festival of Light.

A few showed courses of stones tumbling down or fire on the walls, and that was difficult to watch.
May it never happen.

I wonder if this painting with light could be considered momentary murals.
.
Either way, I send them now to Monday Murals meme.

  2. I love the momentary murals, created out of light. If the ancient walls were covered in real murals, they would eventually destroy the stones and attract graffiti and rubbishy posters.

  4. I love these images that you showed us! Those are some very complex designs. I especially like the third one - makes it look like an Indian temple.

  5. Sorry, you know I am not a fan of this, not on these stones anyway.

  6. The creativity displayed in computer light shows is staggering. No exception here. Quite fantastic. Thanks, Dina, for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.

  8. I wish I could see this in person. Those eyes aren't evil so I think I'd be fine!

I like it when you sing on VDP! :-)

  11. What an amazing display. I never would have imagined it as well as your pictures display. I imagine images of stones coming down would be very disturbing indeed. Mary
