A campus cat to my rescue

.

I read one of those lists.
This was Ten Ways to Quickly Calm Yourself.
One good way was to pet a cat.
Fine, I said, but oi, where am I going to find a tame cat?

A day later, as if by miracle, this sweetie walked over  while I was sitting on a "bench" at Ben-Gurion University in Beer Sheva and started snuggling up to me.

Even though I didn't let the kitty sit on my lap, students passing by looked at the two of us with curiosity and a little disbelief.
I calmly smiled back at them.   :)

  3. What a cute cat, so friendly to strangers as well. I have never had a cat who wasn't scarred by strangers, the 3 I have now just disappear as soon as they hear a strange car on our driveway!

  4. Not sure a kitty is going to calm me if I am angry...

  5. VP, yeah. Maybe that list was more for general stress and not anger. I wish I could find it again.

  7. What a pretty cat. I've read that petting animals helps people's blood pressure to lower. With all the cats in my yard now I get in a few pettings every day :)

  10. It's a pretty cat snd I guess it was trying to shos you love. We have 3 at home and very often they behavd like kids longing for caress. They are therapeutic indeed. It's enough to watch them after a long day at work. Oh, sometimes they love to give you massage :)
