Dogs in the desert?

.

"Dogs are permitted in the national park only when leashed.
Do not release your dog!"

The breathtaking view from the Ben-Gurion Heritage Institute at Sde Boker in the Negev.

Down in the canyon is Ein Avdat National Park.

Information about the park is here

  3. The desert is threatening and beautiful. If you take your dog, bring a water bowl and a bottle!

  7. Quiet beauty. Would never let Milo there though leashed or unleashed. Nothing to pee on (-8.

  10. This reminds me of the southwest U.S. I'm sure people are glad not to have the place littered with dog doo.

  11. Looks like just the sort of place a dog would run off and get lost. Good idea to keep them on a leash.

  12. I'd be afraid to let a dog loose there! It looks so desolate.

  13. No place for a dog, I think.
I'm thinking this stark beauty would look wonderful at dawn or dusk.
