Made in Norway salmon

Look at the  s i z e   of this piece of salmon!
Our town's supermarket recently began selling Norwegian salmon.
I think it's because Israelis started having second thoughts about buying frozen fish and frozen vegetables from China after these products got some bad press.

BTW, a supermarket worker in white saw my camera and rushed over, asking if she could help me with something.
I said simply that I had promised a photo to my friend Tanya in Norway, which is true. 

So for ABC Wednesday, N is for Norway, "Made in Norway."

  2. I don't trust China foodstuffs either. Their systems are not at Norwegian standards for sure.

  4. I don't eat meat, so I largely rely on protein from fish, eggs and dairy products. Especially salmon!!! Especially Norwegian.

  5. We eat quite a lot of salmon in Norway, and it is good to see that it is popular where you are too. Healthy and tasty and rich on vitamin D..... Enjoy!

  12. We enjoy eating salmon which comes from Scotland in the northern part of the UK.
    Smoked salmon and cream cheese blinis is a favourite in our household along with
    fresh salmon lightly poached served with hollanaise sauce... delicious.
    I've not seen Norwegian salmon in our supermarkets. I'm sure it must be good,
    bearing in mind the beautiful clear waters in the rivers and ffjords,

  14. We're avoiding food from China also. It's a lot cheaper, but we never are quite confident of what we're getting.
