From the window of the early bus out of my village I watched the sun rise. I even needed sunglasses for a while. But very soon the sky turned gray and heavy. Then rain fell and for a few minutes even hail pounded the bus roof.
On the next bus, the express to Tel Aviv, we were just going down from gray Jerusalem when patches of bright sun lit up the countryside and this rainbow appeared.
Soon a second (!) rainbow arched before us. Its one end was right on the highway.
For the first time in my life I passed THROUGH a rainbow! The feeling was like magic!
Touching heaven, touching earth.

Passing through a rainbow must be a great feeling!
ReplyDeleteNow that is a once in a life time thing. (I think).

What an experience. We don't get rainbows here very often. When it rains it is usually completely overcast. I used to live in Colorado and saw quite a few rainbows there.

ReplyDeleteDid u see the pot of Gold? :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend.
I have seen two rainbows at the same time, and was very confused (just kidding!), but I have never passed under a rainbow. It must be a very special experience.
ReplyDeleteHow extraordinary. Next time you'll find the pot of gold.
ReplyDeleteWhat a magical experience.
ReplyDeleteMagical indeed! In the rare instances that it rains here in Southern California I'm always on the lookout for rainbows. When they happen, they are usually just fragments but they are always magical to me. How wonderful you actually traveled through one! That is special.
ReplyDeleteDina, I've never passed through a rainbow. I understand very well your extraordinary feeling. :-)
ReplyDeleteSome rain finally!
ReplyDeleteI hope that there is more where that came from.
A great experience I guess, and a beatiful picture.
ReplyDeleteWow, great, didn't you see the pot of gold?
