Our sun is out again (!), leaving sort of a reverse shadow on the wall.

  10. I can just imagine sitting in this room reading psalms by the light of this window. Divine!

Have you heard from Father Adam? He has been noticeably absent lately!

  12. this is beautiful Dina, I have always been transfixed by the writing of light on the wall -it is so simplistic and yet so inclusive of all at the same time.

  14. Very fine shadow shot, Dina. I like the rectangles of the sun on the wall (which I imagine thick) of the house.

  22. Shalom to you all and thanks for sharing your impressions of the window.

VP, I was trying to decide if this qualifies as a shadow, so I just made up the term "reverse shadow."
    It seems to work. :)

Jan, Father Adam is back on the blog today. Yay! There is nothing quite like Monastery Daily Photo.

Crederae, it is a secret place. (Sorry.)

Pietro, yes, very thick stone walls, ala 12th century.

Sweet Repose, medieval. But these walls are far from the city.

Wishing you all sun and simplicity!

  23. It looks like a window in a convent, because of the white and bare walls. So simple and peaceful.
