February is still supposed to be winter in Israel.
But instead we are having a week of heat-wave days.
Jerusalem is in the mid- to high-70s F, 23 to 27 C.
Tel Aviv and the south are even warmer.
My friend Shachar likes to soak up the rare winter warmth on roof tops.
She can sleep soundly here because she knows jackals can't get up there.

Dina: Neat little cat. Is that the "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof"?
ReplyDeleteShe looks alert and watching you in the bottom photo. Black cats are really quite beautiful, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteI suppose the cats in your area must sleep with one eye open for predators.
ReplyDeleteCute kitties, I wish we were having heat waves. Very cold here in Maryland.
ReplyDeleteI wish Israel could export some of that warm February weather. I'll bet that there would be a big trade deal with Washington if that were the case. D.C. has over 2 feet of snow this month already!
ReplyDeleteI envy Shachar! A cold wave is hitting us again...
ReplyDeleteShe is really soaking up the sun!
ReplyDeleteAdorable kitty!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing what you post and the details you share. Thanks for another great post!
ReplyDeleteWhat sweet photos. I like the top one, with her seemingly queen of the hill, so to speak.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely black cat. :O)
ReplyDeletehee hee
ReplyDelete«Louis» is sending the link for this post to some cat lovers he knows...

ReplyDeleteGreen Iguana
Cats always find the best places!
ReplyDeleteThank goodness for high stone walls! Perfect for a cat.
ReplyDeleteHi Dina! We had a cat just like this one, only he was male. He was a friendly, little cheeky, and playful animal. He was run over by a car.
ReplyDeleteHehe, I had missed this furry critter. She looks happy looking down on the world.
