Too warm

.
At 3:30 this afternoon the sun was still high enough to be reflected from the cars in the Hadassah Hospital parking lots.
But the haze to the west disguised the Jerusalem Hills.
There is a village on the hill behind the first line of trees, but you would never know it in today's weather conditions. It was windy, dusty, hot.
.
Israel is having the warmest February on record.
Many of us are digging in the storage box to get our sandals and T shirts out again.
Trees and flowers are thoroughly confused.
.
Happy SkyWatch Friday to you all, especially those who are tired of snow and cold.

  7. It is nice to know that others sometimes have a problem getting good skies.
I will loan you some of ours.

  8. Yes, and there is a rare winter cyclone forming to Hawaii's south. More heat means more energy in the atmosphere, leading to extreme weather INCLUDING unusually heavy snow in SOME places!

    Oy!

    Aloha, Dina

  11. This particular Skywatch Friday is a blog birthday for you, is it not? Happy day, in any case! All your days should be happy ones, in exchange for all the happiness you bring to others.

  13. Maybe there's hope yet for global warming. It's hard to imagine hot weather with all of the snow around here.

  14. Jerusalem too? We're in the middle of a drought right now — what should be rice paddies are cracked, brown earth all over the Philippines. :(

Wising us both some much-needed rain soon.

  16. Beautiful image, contrasts and light.

Yes, a false spring does confuse the flowers and foliage.

  18. That's a nice view! The summer's begun to show up here in Mumbai. The temperature has begun to rise. Soon it will become hotter and hotter day by day.... I'm quite jealous of COLD places :-(
