Pictures of life in Jerusalem and the Jerusalem Hills. And since August 2013 also a look at the northern Negev, my new home.

It does seem as though the cat is mesmerized by the solitary bit of colour there!

I like your interpretation!
Looks like a snapdragon! Well, of course the cat would be interested. I love snapdragons, and I love how this one is tenaciously hanging on.
We should bow in awe and respect to the tenacity of mother nature. She gives bith to lives and beauties even in face of the utmost adversities.
Looks mesmerized by it :)
I played too :)
Good post Dina and Eki..I love your comment...
Oh, I love that 2nd shot.
I love these photos, Dina. There's such a beautiful message to see if you just stop to look.
That's a lovely way to put it to ruminate on a flower thanks sandy
It looks like the cat and the plant are having a conversation!
Great shot.
I'll admit that it looks a bit dry. Maybe we should go half-and-half weather-wise?
Dina: Probably hoping for a morsal to eat in the dug up land.
I agree with Leora - I love snapdragons, and they can be good survivors. Very cute shot.
How sweet is that? Love the cat shot!
Cheers, Klaus
This cat obviously has it figured out - you need to take time to enjoy life - you need to stop and smell...er, I mean, meditate on the flowers ;-)
Priceless! That cat seems to be completely enthralled by the flower!
How pretty and a thoughtful thing for the kittie to do
Love the cat shot. I'm quite sure cats have life all figured out. East, sleep, eat, with a few strokes thrown in for good measure.
Oh, I am charmed. A cat meditating on a flower! Funny.
Eki, that's profound.
Hi Dina, great title and pictures.
hahaha... nice shot. nice timing.
