Appreciating life

One last vestige of color tenaciously hanging on to life in our otherwise tan, white, and gray and thoroughly excavated archaeological site.

Today a cat came to meditate on the flower.

To see what other animals have been posted around the world this weekend, have a visit at Camera-Critters.

  1. It does seem as though the cat is mesmerized by the solitary bit of colour there!

  2. Looks like a snapdragon! Well, of course the cat would be interested. I love snapdragons, and I love how this one is tenaciously hanging on.

  3. We should bow in awe and respect to the tenacity of mother nature. She gives bith to lives and beauties even in face of the utmost adversities.

  9. I'll admit that it looks a bit dry. Maybe we should go half-and-half weather-wise?

  13. This cat obviously has it figured out - you need to take time to enjoy life - you need to stop and smell...er, I mean, meditate on the flowers ;-)

  16. Love the cat shot. I'm quite sure cats have life all figured out. East, sleep, eat, with a few strokes thrown in for good measure.
