Southern skies

Friday afternoon's big sky over Sydney's big Centennial Park.
For days now the gray skies have tried their best to let down some rain, but they can't seem to squeeze out more than a few droplets for a few minutes.
The energetic runners are my grandson Dean and son-in-law, Guy.
I'm enjoying a good visit with my family.

More world skies to be seen at Sky Watch Friday.

I'm so glad you're having a good time with Naomi and her family, Dina. It's a lot more peaceful where you are than where you came from.

Enjoying your posts from your travels and visit to the land Down Under. Lots of good Skywatching images there too.
First chance in awhile Dina, to wish you and yours all the best for the new year. It looks as if you're getting a good running start on it already!

Hi Dina! I 'm so glad you are enjoying your stay in Sydney. How were the caves? We have a lot of ice here and te tree looked as if they were decorated with lace! So beautiful. My daughter and son-in-law were skating this afternoon. And I walked for two hours just taking photos.

isn't it strange that australia in the summer can be cold? i've talked to another friend in australia, and she told me it was too cold even to go swimming there at the moment.

have a great time with your family down under!
