Sunday at St. Mary's Cathedral

You don't have to be Catholic to love organ music and Gregorian chant.
So when in Sydney, I always like to come to Solemn High Mass at the splendid old Gothic cathedral. St. Mary's is full of the "smells and bells" and the drama of the Roman Catholic Church.
Nice, too, to see the pews filled with thousands of the faithful.

I enjoy chant music, It seem ethereal and just fills a room. I haven't acquired the taste for organ music but we all have different tastes.

What a blessing to hear beautiful music. Specially in a place like St. Mary's Cathedral.
Patsy (p.s.) It is warmer here now 49 in Arkansas.

I agree, Dina.
A wonderful atmosphere of sights, smells and sounds . . . and inner silence. Aloha-

I love any old Gothic cathedral. I think they're beautiful and mysterious. I'd love to explore a really ancient one.

I'm not big into organ music but I do enjoy hearing the music in churches as it reverberates through the cathedral.
