ReplyDeleteI love that bench! The back is inteesting! Of course the statue is also! I think every town must have one of those. . . Ous is in a city park and it is a man dressed in suit and tie and hat, reading the local newspepaer . . . and a little girl is standing in front of him with a tulip from her basket for him.

PPS I think it was real, old milk cans. Everything tasted the 50s and 60s. No one can do thinks like this better that the Britons.

I used to know your area pretty well, used to work as a walking guide at the Jaffa Gate. And other places, 20 years ago. Nice to see Israel by an insider! Have a good shabbes!

Brought back some memories. I volunteered for a number of years in The Baptist village Yarkon now a baseball camp for the Jews. been all over Israel mostly the biblical sites. the best fish I ever had was the et peters in a restaurant by lake galilea.
