Wet mother and daughter at dinner |
The aquifers and the Sea of Galilee, the plants and the earth all love the long-awaited water.
But my neighbors' outdoor cats hate the wet and cold.
The clouds sit not just on top of the mountains, they creep down to the valley and into ravines.
I know Israel needs the rain, but like the cats, I will be happy to see and feel some sunshine again.
.
Well, they seem to wear their winter fur, they will be fine. Sending you a bit of our sunshine here.
ReplyDeleteHopefully they will be warm again soon.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure the kitties will be fine. Lovely shot of the mountains.
ReplyDeleteWhat a huge blessing to get all that rain! Especially after your devastating fires! The photo reminds me how my paternal grandmother used to set milk out in front of her back steps for the neighborhood cats.....
ReplyDeleteIt would be wonderful if rain would pace itself better: a couple of days of rain, a couple of days of sun....
ReplyDeleteGet the rain, the sun will shine for many months...
ReplyDeleteWell, at least they have fur coats to keep off some of the rain! I can't send you any sun from here, we've had nothing but ice and snow for what seems like ages -- sigh.
ReplyDeleteVisiting from Camera Critters.
Awww... Dina, I'm so happy for you all to have that much needed rain. We are out of the drought danger now, too. However, Tif just called and said there was a fire close by. She'd seen it in the webnews. Sheesh! Here she is in Illinois and she's telling me about a fire very close by that I didn't realize was happening.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure the cats will dry out in no time.
I'm ready to do a rain dance. We were drenched then nadda.
ReplyDeletePoor kittys. Hope you let them in. Long coats can take forever to dry
