Heavenly shades of night are falling . . .

.
The last half hour of direct sunlight on the valley and the Jerusalem Hills and on Jerusalem itself, as the sun starts to go down behind my hill.
"Heavenly shades of night are falling . . . "

For SkyWatch Friday.

If I don't enlarge the photo, the white buildings on the distant hill almost look like snow.

THE SKY’S A MOST WONDERFUL THING

The sky’s a most wonderful thing,
Within it some strange creatures sing:
The angels and such;
But dragons? Not much—
They’d rather breathe fire and take wing.

A picturesque landscape, beautiful the white houses over there.

Are your days getting much longer now? Even in Hawaii, our days are lengthening. When we go walking, I can see the sun dropping in the skies at a different angle now.
