Last night the crêpes stand was one of the most popular food stands at the American Independence Day bash in Jerusalem.
Except its name was transliterated from the Hebrew as KREP.

The little girl could hardly wait to sprinkle her sprinkles on the Nutella-filled "krep."

The AACI Association of Americans and Canadians in Israel put on the Fourth of July + Canada Day picnic in Kraft Stadium.
The best part was the big yard sale. Lots of bargains.
No fireworks, thankfully.

ReplyDeleteI remember eating Nutella when I was growing up, and we've recently started buying it at my house! We can get Nutella crepes at one of the local malls, now I want to try one. Great part of your world!

ReplyDeleteIsrael is where I first discovered chocolate spreads like Nutella. I was with a group on a jeep tour of the Judean wilderness. We took a break and the guide provided drinks and crackers with chocolate spread. Delicious. I eat it all the time now....
