Here's the view from the supermarket, i.e. from the little Meitar commercial center that I showed yesterday.
A few houses at the foot of the hill and some off to the north and a little forest.
And then the desert.
The nights have recently become cooler; good sleeping temperatures.
Then the days warm up to the low 30s C (around 90 F).
But the last few days have been abnormally dry, like 10% humidity, in much of the country.
Hard on the nose.
I've got a pan of water simmering and some wet towels hung around the house to moisten the air and ease the breathing.

We get some rain and then some more, but during the day is still relatively hot. Short-sleeves-hot I mean...
ReplyDeleteThat extremely low humidity is not comfortable is it. We were down to 7 per cent some parts of last week, but last night it rained!!! And it is cold and cloudy and very humid this morning. Hope you get some moisture real soon.
ReplyDeleteI like the way the palm tree branch seems to touch down on the light pole in the distance.
Oh... this is a beautiful view, nice composition with the palm tree in the foreground.
ReplyDeleteThe meteorologis say, we get snow tonight, down to 1000 meters a.s.l.
Lovely post!
ReplyDeleteHappy SWF to you!
beautiful blue sky.
ReplyDeleteAm I imagining things, or is there just a bit of dust in the sky?

Like how the palm branch in the foreground frames the background. Have a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteYour commercial centre looks nice but I much prefer the view.
ReplyDeleteGood thinking. Maybe I'll try those water pans.
ReplyDeleteWe now expect lots of shots of the desert and from those hills you understand! :)
ReplyDelete10% humidity - so that is why we have got all the rain lately! Or not quite, the last couple of days we have had a very nice weather and all of 12 - 15 degrees C :-)
ReplyDeleteBEautiful!
ReplyDeleteThe dry air was a shock for mom when we traveled to the canyons national parks this spring. The nose bleeds were a surprise. The Chinese dug a canal through the Forbidden City to alleviate the dryness. Learned that this spring too.
ReplyDeleteToday here in central California it's about 80 F and 30% humidity. Nice palm tree! :)
