City Daily Photo's Theme Day today is about DETAIL.
It reminds me of a joke from long ago during my school days in Chicago:
The teacher asks a pupil to use the words deface, detail, and defense in one sentence.
The boy answers, "Dat's easy! De face went over de fence before de tail."

That's the perfect photo for your story!
ReplyDeleteGroan! Hahaha!
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you still have amusing cats in your new neighborhood.
Hilda, no, sorry, I don't have any new cat friends in my new town. The picture is of dear old Jerusalem Hills friend Lara who died in August. I miss her.
ReplyDeleteNo new cats? That is a sad state of affairs. I'm sure there will be some that find you.
ReplyDeleteHehehehehehehe
ReplyDeleteGood one!
Cats are KOOL!
That must have been a Dutch boy, as we use "de"instead of "the"for a definite article.
ReplyDeleteDina, I am so happy that your daughter is leaving Australia and is coming to you!
Wil, "leaving" Australia just for seven months, though, not forever.
ReplyDeleteThe funny thing is that there is also an Italian version of a similar joke...
ReplyDeletegood one!
ReplyDeleteFun!
ReplyDeleteHehe, great one! And wonderful photo
ReplyDeleteWow! That's an amazing shot of your friend, Lara. It certainly captures her agility and it goes so well with your story.
