High and dry

Jerusalem weather is still good for laundry-hanging. Gray sky but still no rain. A pleasant 20 degrees C, 68 F.


One big old eucalyptus tree in the narrow lanes of Nachlaot, one of the first Jerusalem neighborhoods to be built outside the Old City walls.

One note about drying laundry: in humid New Jersey, even in the summer, it sometimes takes a day for clothes to draw. And then you risk rain.

We hung clothes in the heat of the summer in Israel; they were dry in one half hour.

It look so usual to us. I t could be a place in South of France or whatever Latin European country. Like the atmosphere.

Haha,I hang my clothes in the bedroom. Here it's always dry and I have not balcony...

I so rarely see laundry hanging to dry. It's so practical. I like this picture very much. It looks like life.
