Evening descends later now; last Friday Israel switched to Daylight Saving Time. Here the sun had just set behind the hills, across the valley, outside my neighbor-friends' window.
Shabbat shalom.

Shalom! What a beautiful evening sky.
ReplyDeleteIs DST a new thing for Israel? I had no idea UK did this til someone posted about it .. I really thought we, here in USA, were the only ones doing this silly time thing ..
ReplyDeleteGreat photo .. have a good weekend
Very solemn moment.
ReplyDeleteShalom Sandy. Yes, the view to the valley is always lovely.
ReplyDeleteDaryl, no, DST is not so new here.
Photo Cache shalom. Quiet descends on the hills and on Jerusalem late Friday afternoon and you can feel Shabbat arriving. Welcoming her on Friday night is a time of joy.
It refers to the title of your blog, Dina : Quiet "Jerusalem Hills". Hope with all my heart all will remain peaceful as in your picture for a long, lond time.
ReplyDeleteDST is nothing new in the UK either, though we do it at a different date than in the US and, apparently, Israel too.
ReplyDeleteInteresting interpretation. Must remember we go off DST tomorrow. An extra hour's sleep but darker earlier.
ReplyDeleteShabat Shalom.
A lovely image of the evening calm, Dina.

Dina, in fact everyone at the end of March has switched to Daylight Saving Time: but it wouldn't be more easy to keep the same time all the year?...
ReplyDeleteVery nice shot. Lots of intresting details. Very well composed and framed. Happy SWF!
ReplyDeleteLovely. I really like the view through the window architecture, nicely composed shot.
ReplyDeleteAhhh... so you guys do it, too? We don't do it in Hawaii. I do like not having to change the time in spring and fall.
