Whirligig

.
A weather vane whirling in the wind!
.
You can't see it so well in the photo but the three colored circles were spinning.
In the garden of a private villa in Ein Kerem.
.
Besides being revered as the birthplace of John the Baptist, the village is now also an artists' colony.
.
The W words are for ABC Wednesday.

That is a combination I have never seen before, but I'm sure it works fine. However, I don't think it would last for long around here :-)

What a nice addition to the garden, especially when the wind blows. So colorful to watch.

Ein Karem must be a great place to live. I haven't been there in ages, I need to rectify that.

And a very pretty picture, too, with the whirligig framed like that in the trees!
