The sky, source of wonder

.

A Meitar sunset, last night, with birds.
At 4:55 pm,  so early.

Why does the sun always look squishy the second before it disappears behind the hills?
.
This morning I heard real thunder and we had one minute of sprinkles!!
Our first since last spring!

This evening  the grandkids  and I walked to the edge of town, to the edge of the desert, to spot the International Space Station going over!!
How exciting and moving!

  3. Wonderful! J and I have watched the ISS pass over Pasadena. It's surprisingly fast, and easy to see.

  4. I've noticed the same squishy thing. It's forecasted for thunderstorms tomorrow and our little KC is keeping her fingers crossed that it won't impact her trick or treating. I sure hope so. It doesn't look too good though.

  5. Good capture of the final moments, they always get over very fast.

  6. No rain since spring? Wow.

I could spend the whole day watching the sky. That would make me redundant much earlier in the winter. :-)
