Free chalk

When chips fall from the chalky cliff  and become chalk for creative children . . .

  1. Beautiful, Dina! I dont know how it is with you, but I couldn't get enough of watching my granddaughter, who will be 2 next week. She is so funny and lively. I came home last Friday and was delighted to be in the cool (not really cold,) weather of Holland.I miss the children, but I feel the warmth of my neighbours and friends as a welcome home. I belong here.

  2. Children love chalk, especially the giant coloured ones so they can draw all over the driveways and sidewalks!

  6. A good portrait, Dina.

Kids here do the same thing on the sidewalks in the summer.

  10. Aww love that. My kids loved to play with chalk too when they were younger.

  12. I don't know a single child who can resist a piece of chalk, and free chalk is too good to pass up. The photo of your grandson reminds me of my youngest brother when he was very young. He was drawing all the time, everywhere, and the very idea of a table and a chair seemed superfluous when the urge overtook him. He's now a very successful artist in the animation industry.

  13. Terrific photo, Dina! I just watched a video about National Geographic's Dewitt Jones and you've got all the elements of a great shot in this photo.
