.
Missiles, mortars, and rockets are not the only things falling from our sky.
I wonder if a pigeon can get a heart attack from hearing too many Red Alert sirens and feeling explosions in the sky.
.
UPDATE July 24:
Look at this! An owl was hit by a mortar is being treated for shrapnel wounds!

Oh, poor little one ..
ReplyDeletePoor birds!
ReplyDeleteYou and the whole land are sure in my thoughts every day Please keep posting so we know you are OK.
The poor thing...
ReplyDeletePoor little bird. Here, when fireworks are set off like on the 4th, there have been some large bird kills reported. Rockets are probably even worse for this.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are safe...
ReplyDeleteProbably. Not great for the humans, either...

Dina - You, and everyone in the land is in our hearts and thoughts every hour. May angels keep you safe.
ReplyDeleteAt least IDF soldiers have the dignity of risking and giving their lives for somethings 100% worthy. US soldiers in some no-where piece of rock in Afghanistan are the height of sin absurdity. Shalom
It must not be easy to keep your sanity. Wishing peace in the whole region!
ReplyDeleteYes, I guess they can. No matter where they are.
ReplyDeleteHere we had one bird who just banged in to the window.
HOT, and not even the birds are used to it:)
Poor bird. I also near to heart attack sometimes when I am running those 30 meter to the bomb shelter. It is too much for grandmothers.
ReplyDeleteSo there is a good side even in all this!
ReplyDeleteWith the kids here, we've not been able to keep up with the news as much. It's mind boggling to see how horrible the situation is now in your area.
ReplyDeleteWell the pigeons here are quite used to Blasts from firecrackers. :)

ReplyDeleteSymbolic, if it were a dove. Stay safe. Nothing more to say or do, except pray for you all.
ReplyDeletetout le monde doit aller s'abriter
ReplyDeleteWhy do I find it harder to accept the harm to the innocent birds? We are all birds. Prayers for you all Dina...<3
ReplyDeleteNot a peaceful time for humans or animals.
ReplyDeletePoor thing. Hope you are safe.
ReplyDeleteA very tough time for everyone. Stay safe.
ReplyDeletePoor pigeon. I guess it represents the wildlife that is also affected by conflict.
ReplyDeleteHoping for the best resolution to the strife in your land. Stay safe.
