Dharma in a bomb shelter

.

The pre-kindergarten where my granddaughter was, when she was here.
To the left of it is a public bomb shelter.

Now that the shelter is unlocked this month, I stuck my head in to see what it's like inside.

An ad from 2012 was still stapled to the wall.
I had to smile.  A Zen moment.
I could use such a retreat about now . . . .

  1. With all the violence in the world, I'm sure that a retreat would be a welcome relief.

  2. A strange contrast... a zen teacher in the Holy Land. The area could use some zen right about now.

  3. We all need our zen moment(s) everyday. You just have to take each day in stride and hope for the best.

  4. Hang in there! You have our love and unending prayers. I was just today thinking sadly that it was "good" your family has returned home from visiting you.

    Shalom
