Dawn

Dawn was dawning this morning at 5:55 as I waited for the first bus out of my moshav/village.
What a view (with a little bit of zoom) from the street near my house! Jerusalem on the horizon. And you can just see the mast of the new Calatrava Bridge of Strings.

See other bloggers' skies posted for Sky Watch Friday at http://skyley.blogspot.com/.

I love that time of the morning, Dina. Not for me the sleeping in until 7am! I like the haze or smoke that I can see here hanging over the valley. I think that the air would smell very nice over there.

I gather the bridge is somehow related to David's Lyre? It does look like one could pluck some dark strings in your photo. You have a beautiful view of the city; I hope no one constructs any blockades to your view.

Lovely transition of dark foreground to middle, to sky. The light haze adds good atmospheric perspective.

Pre dawn is my favourite time of day.

Happy skywatch.

Loved the photo of Qumran.
