Cat napping in the autumn sun

On my Sabbath stroll this afternoon in the moshav, everywhere cats were half dozing in the last rays of the sun, fully enjoying the warmth before the chilly (down to 8 degrees C) night.
Cats are so smart.
At the dairy goat farm
and at the monastery.

Pay a visit to Camera-Critters this weekend to see more animals around the blogging world.

  1. I keep telling myself I am going to start taking pictures of the cats I see in windows...but then I wonder what the people that live in these houses would think if they saw me taking the pictures and that puts a halt to it.

Anyway, I like these you took of the cats just being cats.

  10. Rose, if cats are in windows it seems like an invitation to photograph them, no?

    Indrani, good one! hehe

Twobarkingdogs, I enjoyed your two too.

    Pietro, that's for sure.

Bobbie, carpe diem, capture the rays--almost the same!

    Merci Webradio.

Sherrie and Jedidiah, so true. Sometimes I wish my computer wires were just a little longer, then I could "work" outside in the sun.

Eki, well, they are no indoor cats. Not many in Israel are. But these seem to have adopted the right humans: merciful monks and dairy goat farmers.

Misty, yeah, it's a cat's life. Must be nice...

  15. I once heard cats referred to as "energy leaches", but I think they are simple "energy wise". Nothing better than a happy cat.
