Ultra-good ultrasound news!

.
It's a GIRL!
Most probably it is a girl!

Isn't she sweet?!
My first granddaughter, after three grandsons.

My daughter and her husband and their two little boys live in Sydney, Australia. Naomi posted these ultrasound photos on their blog two weeks ago. Her little one is due in April.
.
My son and his wife and their son live in Los Angeles.
As you can imagine, our family on three continents has fun with video-calling on (free!) Skype.
.
Nu, can you help us think of some girl-names?
Best if the name sounds good in Hebrew and in English.
.
Happy ABC Wednesday U Day.

  11. Dina:
I have been reading your blog since I got back to LA from Israel this summer. Your pictures make feel so close to beautiful Israel.

Since I live in LA like you child and I have twin daughters why not borrow one of my daughter's names...Elianna, which is an English, Israeli, Spanish and Italian name. Otherwise I suggest, Gala or Orly. Both easy to say and lovely.

    Congratulations!

    Aren't those photos wonderful.
    Their first portrait ha ha.
My neice is pregnant and she went for an ultrasound and they really played it up- there was mystical music and water fountains and the prophecy- a boy!

  15. Oh, she's perfect, just look at those tiny hands. Congratulations to you and your family!
How about Hanna, Abigail or Miriam (I don't know how Miriam is pronounced in English, but in German it's a beautiful name I think)?

  26. Congrats! Great U. Of course, you can't really be sure until...

I've always been partial to the Old Testament names such as Rachel, Leah, Hannah, Sarah.

  27. These ultrasound photos bring back memories for me, of Logan's ultra sound.

How exciting for you, Dina, and for your family.

I can relate, with one son and his family in Japan, one son and his family in Missouri, and my daughter and her family, and myself in the Los Angeles area. Skype...what would we do without it...for free. I used to rack up phone bills like crazy.
