Curiouser and curiouser

.

Over the years I've seen some strange things at the Jaffa Gate, but never anything as curious as this.
On March 9 a motley group was sitting silently, doing some kind of meditation.
.
This too is part of my world, for Our World Tuesday.

  2. Well, I don't know if my comment took, I forgot to sign in first...here it is again:

That is an interesting group of people, but my eye is drawn to the purple outfit with the multi-layered skirts and the scarf, of the young woman seated on the left. It appeals to me as something that would feel fun to wear with all that flowing cloth.

  3. The world certainly has to find its balance again. Looks peaceful though. Please have a good Tuesday.

  5. The way some of their hands are turned palm up does look like they're meditating. Wonder what it's all about.

I liked the Palm Sunday pics too - the palm fronds look so green :)

  9. Diane, shalom. The Jaffa Gate is a busy open gate into the walled Old City of Jerusalem.
There are 7 or 8 gates in the wall.
The the old days they would be closed and bolted every night for protection of the residents.
