Pictures of life in Jerusalem and the Jerusalem Hills. And since August 2013 also a look at the northern Negev, my new home.
Lots of faith traditions from out of Ethiopia.
ReplyDeleteROG, ABCW
He looks quite studious!
ReplyDeleteI find it fascinating that there's such a power play sort of atmosphere between the denominations that jockey for position in that church. I wrote a sequence set inside there.
Oh that sweet little boy just inside the door!
ReplyDeleteI like this picture very much. The older man learning from his book. The young boy learning from the building itself. Both good ways to learn.
ReplyDeleteSuch an interesting photo! I hope ABC-ers will follow up on the story and history behind this photo. So much most of us don't know about the history of the Middle East.
ReplyDeleteThis is a timeless, beautiful scene.
ReplyDeleteHe is sitting on something that may or may not qualify as a bench...
ReplyDeleteFriends, thanks for all these really interesting comments!
ReplyDeleteVP, to see better that whole corner "bench" please see
