A late afternoon view from a playground of the southern neighborhood of my town, Meitar.
Actually, Meitar is called a planned community, or yishuv kehilati in Hebrew.
Since 1985 it has grown to a population of over 8,000.

Was it sunset? It looks very lovely. Hope you are enjoying your new neighborhood.
ReplyDeletea population of over 8,000 and yet it looks so peaceful in the glowing sunlight.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week. I am joining you at Our World Tuesday.
Except for the hebrew sign on the right, Meitar looks like it could be anywhere in Europe. Home is always the best place in the world.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful view. It seems peaceful in this shot.
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of a planned community, instead of a higgledy piggledy town that wanders wherever development occurred.
ReplyDeleteOur 'community' was planned centuries ago, but recently they must have lost the plan...
ReplyDeleteLovely to see green!
ReplyDeleteLooks like summer and very beautiful.. miss it!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a very lovely place to live.
