Sally forth into S

S is for silk, corn silk. I suspect my silliness with the letter S for today's ABC Wednesday is getting a bit corny. Sorry if this stretches your patience. But come, take up your staff and let us sally forth up into the Jerusalem and Jerusalem Hills worlds of S .

Many other bloggers are contributing mercifully shorter S posts today. See them at Mrs. Nesbitt's place.

You asked for my e-mail, but how can I best send it to you?

  5. Cornsilk! I took photos of corn in a field last autumn and was amazed at how fascinating those plants are. Of course, I have also just finished Omnivore's Dilemma and dismayed by what has been done to corn and its use now. Great posts as always.

  8. That corn looks so fresh and sweet. Is it in your garden? I have a small garden, so I can't grow corn of my own even through I love to eat it. I invite you to come see my stump pictures. Click on gardening in my category list and you can see my floating garden. - Margy
