The greening

.
A blessing on your house, O people of Iran.
May justice reign and peace prevail.
Today, Sunday, June 28, bloggers worldwide post in support of freedom-seeking people in Iran. Some of those posts can be seen via City Daily Photo.
Blessings especially to blogger-friends S in Iran and Meead now in Portland.

  2. Interesting building! Love the vibrant green colour. Things like this make really good subjects for photography.

  3. Amen. I have Jewish friends here in Highland Park from Iran, and a Muslim friend in the Boston area from Iran. For all their sakes, I hope their country will know peace (and have a friendlier government, too).

And this lovely green building is where?

  4. Thanks Cieldequimper. Bon dimanche.

Hi Stanley! Good to see you again.

Leora shalom. Good you have friends to ask about the situation.
The house is in a Bedouin village in the Negev. Click on Darajat in my Labels column or see http://jerusalemhillsdailyphoto.blogspot.com/2009/03/st-patricks-day-green.html

  5. Dina,hi! I used green letters as a symbol of peace. I tried to read some posts of your Iranian friend, but it proved that some posts were no longer available. So... ?? Anyway green is the colour!!

  6. Wil, S in Iran is taking a blog break to finish exams and projects of the university semester. But Meead still has all the photos of the protests and continues to update his readers. Go green!

  9. Amen to that, Dina! Beautiful post.
Re. our friend S., since final exams at her university were canceled, and since her personal information no longer appears on the blog, I'm thinking the break may have more to do with family safety and the attention being paid to bloggers by the government. I could be wrong and hope I am :-). We all love these three so much, it is hard to think of the turmoil brought to each of their young lives by these recent events.
