Blue gets monotonous

.
This is the countryside of our Jerusalem Hills, also known as the Hills of Judea.
Ancient agricultural terrace walls all around.
Summer means blue cloudless skies and lots of heat.
Summer knows no green on the ground, only dry brown.
The rains end around March and begin again only in late September or October.
.
SkyWatch Friday posts are pretty boring here at Jerusalem Hills daily photo during the long hot summer.
Be patient.

Blue is blue is blue. Pretty flowers though.

My mother is doing laundry today. She would appreciate a whole day of those blue skies. Hmmm... I just looked out the window. Our skies look rather like yours... right now.

Great Blue skies...I don't know what kind of flowering plant those are..but they sure do make the brown grasses look good.

Well, this photo is not boring in the least....and the blue and tan brown color combination is always a pleasing one, in my humble opinion anyhow!

"Blue enters the soul." Matisse. Probably more than a year, since last seen such nice flowers. Much appreciated picture. Please have a safe and good Friday.

In spite of the lack of rainfall, catching a glimpse of green and a lonesome flower made the shot beautiful though looks really quite hot what with the blue sky and no clouds at all!

this is pretty Dina! I love your shot! :)

It is not at all boring. The wild flowers make it pretty interesting. Have a nice weekend!

Imagine this is the land where Jesus walked. What is the pretty flower?

There's that lovely lavender bloom, whatever it is.

I hope you get some reprieve from the heat soon. 40C+ is not funny.
