No, sorry, it's not the sun and Venus; it's just the full moon rising, as seen from my village in the Hills of Jerusalem.

  6. This is a beautiful picture.

    I guess you know we were able to see the first part of it here in California. Venus is large enough that, with ray-screening glasses, we could see it without a telescope. That is my current definition of awe.
