As the year draws to a close, let's hope that all the nutty things that fell on us in 2012 will rest a while in the transforming earth and eventually emerge as OK oaks.
This is a-corny post but it comes to wish you a year full of new growth and peace.

ReplyDeleteAcorns :) Happy New Year, Dina.
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of last year when KC desperately wanted to bring acorns to her preschool class and they couldn't find any. Tif had throw away a few of these little treasures that KC often picks up here and there. Tif felt so guilty, we all searched throughout the city parks for them and couldn't find any. For some reason, the trees didn't produce them in our town. We went to see Mrs. Hubbard and to,d her about our plight. She burst out laughing and took us to her woods. We got a boxful! It was unbelievable. KC was able to share acorns with her whole class. It's such a beautiful memory.
ReplyDeleteWell it was raining heavily last night but the sun is peeping out this morning. Happy New Year.
